Broken Hearted Parents Support Group

Is the behavior of your teen or adult children breaking your heart? There is hope. Here you'll find a safe place to talk about your situation, share your feelings, and gain Christ-centered perspective from parents with similar experiences.

Car Care Ministry
Lincoln Berean’s Car Care Ministry provides routine maintenance and repairs to qualifying individuals within our church and by referral through select agency partners.

Celebrate Recovery Group

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12 Step recovery program. We are a safe, loving place where people are helped to overcome addictions, childhood wounds (such as divorce or abandonment) and issues relating to being the child of an alcoholic, addict, or abuser, various traumas, codependency, depression, anger, etc...
Life is hard sometimes and everyone gets hurt, but Jesus offers healing and freedom.
We meet every Friday night at Lincoln Berean.
Large Group Meeting (6:50-8:00): Hear testimonies from recovering CR leaders, 12 Step lessons, special addiction recovery teachings, and live worship with the CR bands.
Men’s and Women’s Small Groups, Newcomer's Class (8:00-9:00)
Crosstalk Café (9:00-9:30): fellowship/snack time
Walk-ins and newcomers are always welcome! (no need to register)

DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K)

Are your children angry, hurt, and confused about your separation or divorce? A DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) group is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K
groups blend, games, music, stories, videos and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward. Groups meet weekly and are designed for children ages 5-12. Class not meeting March 14.

Healing the Wounded Heart
If you are a woman who has experienced sexual abuse in the form of rape, incest, sexting, sexual bullying, unwanted advances, pornography or other ways, as a child or teen, you may feel contempt, powerlessness, betrayal, and ambivalence toward God and others. We invite you to join us for Healing the Wounded Heart group. Together, we will walk through the heartache of sexual abuse and the hope of transformation.

This biblically-based recovery group offers hope and healing to those afflicted with the guilt and shame of abortion. HEAL is free, completely confidential led by women who have found spiritual and emotional peace.
This is a joint ministry with the Pregnancy Center, which provides support materials. Both groups meet at the Pregnancy Center (111 Piazza Terrace).

This biblically-based group is for women who have experienced brokenness in their lives due to problems with intimacy disorders including love, sex, and pornography addictions or continue to seek emotionally unavailable or inappropriate partners. The group process will provide you with support, guidance, and accountability in a confidential environment.

Pure Desire: Seven Pillars of Freedom for Men

Seven Pillars groups are designed to provide a safe place to process addiction to pornography, affairs, or emotional disconnection in marriage, build a lifestyle of accountability, and find healing. This workbook group helps men break denial, bring understanding of sex addiction, and provides practical tools for sobriety. The exercises in the workbook create a structure for freedom and provide the biblical truth necessary to build on.

Spiritual Care Ministry

Are you hurting or going through a difficult time? Would you find it helpful for someone to listen and care for you? Spiritual Care provides a safe place and a person to talk to, one-on-one through life’s challenging issues. It’s confidential and completely free. Spiritual Caregivers are trained individuals who are passionate about coming alongside you, offering grace and hope in times of need.
For individuals 19 or older

Spiritual Care Training Course I and II
Wednesdays, September 6 - November 8 & January 10 - April 4, 6:30 PM-8:00 PM
This class is FULL.
This class will equip you to walk with others as they experience difficult times in their journey of life and is excellent for those in helping professions/ministries. In class, we will cover topics such as: How God Changes Us, Dangers of Isolation, Communication, Worry and Fear, Bad Habits, Abuse and God’s Healing Path, Boundaries, as well as many other topics.
Course completion allows you to apply to serve as a Spiritual Caregiver. A Spiritual Caregivers are trained individuals who are passionate about walking alongside others, offering grace and hope in times of need. Spiritual Caregivers are not professional therapists.
Location: Room D 103. Cost: $50. Teachers: Dr. Brad Riddle, Marcia Bohlke and Pastor Tedd Burgason.
