Courage To Lead

As we begin this study on leadership, the place to start is not with those that I might lead. It’s to start with me. It’s to start with my own heart before God. I cannot influence others for Christ somewhere where I myself am unwilling to go. I cannot reach out and help those who struggle if I myself don’t have the faith to trust God when life falls apart and makes no sense. So it starts with me. I cannot lead others until I’m first able to lead myself.
